Abstract

A group of rice varieties exhibited in theBiodiversity Fair was evaluated, which were seeded accordingto a Modified Augmented design and different characters wereanalyzed. The system of standard evaluation for rice andvarietal description form were the methodologies used. Datawere subjected to Main Component, Cluster andCorrespondence Factor Analyses. Results showed theexistence of strong correlations between yield and paniclesper square meter, as well as the varieties were grouped in 20classes, regarding the morphoagronomic characterization andin six groups, regarding pests and diseases. Also germplasmdifferences were confirmed.
