Abstract

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) are obligate
endosymbionts, which are present in many natural and
agricultural ecosystems and have a great responsibility in plant
physiology integrity. This research work is based on different
isolations of Glomus clarum, coming from pure cultures of
INCA strain collection. 25 endosporic bacterial strains were
isolated, purified and subjected to several morphological and
biochemical tests, among which aerobiosis and N-fixing
capacity resulted very interesting. Three isolated bacteria had
coincident characteristics with Gluconoacetobacter
diazotrophicus diazotroph endophyte. Besides, an effective
method for the complete disinfection of the outer AMF spore
wall is presented.
