The fertility of soils and their importance in the bioproductos employment in the country of Sancti Spíritus

Abstract

The work was carried out in the farm «BateyColorado» of the Several Crops Enterprise «Valle Caonao» inMeneses, municipality of Yaguajay, on Lixiviated Red Ferraliticsoil. Were carried out soils samplings to determine the followingchemical properties: the soil reaction, organic matter content,phosphorus and exchangeable cations. For the two electricmachines of central pivot (EMCP) the soil reaction is manifestedas acid and lightly acid, organic matter content overcome inboth cases 3 % considered as means, the phosphorus likevery high for the soils of both MEPC. Exchangeable cations:the potassium is reported as high in both cases, the calciumand magnesium as very low, and for the sodium, the values arelow those that are appropriate for this of soil type. Theknowledge of the contained of nutritious of the soil and theemployment of biological products, facilitate to carry out anappropriate handling of the fertilization, improving the nutritionof the plants that are cultivated and getting a reduction of thedoses of the used fertilizers.
