Abstract
used as help or a guide book for those who pretend to get
into the complex world of chitosans and its oligomers. In this
work, some detailed topics present are related to obtain and
characterize chitosans, according to its degree of acetylation
and molar weight, taking into account the importance of these
two factors and their influences on the application of this
product, mainly in agriculture.
