Abstract

An experiment was conducted in order to study
enzymes related to defense and stress mechanisms under
controlled conditions, following dynamics of induction of PO
and PPO in tomato plants var. Amalia using four species of
mycorrhizal-arbuscular fungus (Glomus clarum, Glomus
fasciculatum, Glomus claroideum and Acaulospora
scrobiculata), and the expression of these enzymes was
determined. These enzymes are induced in a differential way
in time as much as in magnitude. Mycorrhizal specific isoforms
for some of these species were observed.
