Abstract

An experiment was conducted for the first time under semicontrolled contidions at the National Institute of Agriculture Sciences (INCA), with the purpose of studying the acclimatization of fern vitroplants from in vitro fern cultivation in the laboratory. Treatments consisted of different mixtures of organic manures (peat and soil) at several rates, determining acidity in every one. The best substrate was the one formed by peat + soil mixture, with more than 80 % survival, more plants per niche with better color, as well as more and longer fronds.
