Abstract

This experiment was carried out in ??La Joya? farm, a technically-made nursery from San José de las Lajas, with the objective of studying the effect of three national growth stimulants (Biobras-16, Pectimorf and Rizobac) at different
concentrations, on the rooting of intermediate cuttings from two Psidium guajava L cultivars. The cuttings once treated were placed in a natural 3-mm-diameter Zeolite substratum under controlled conditions. Also, the percentage of live plants, number of roots per plant, root length and weight were evaluated. Results proved that the use of Pectimorf 10 ppm and Rizobac 0.1% showed the best values in relation to the variables evaluated in this experiment.
