Abstract

The experiment was carried out at the National
Institute of Agricultural Sciences (INCA), with the objective of
studying the phenology of sweet basil (Ocimum basilicum L.)
at different seeding dates. The seeds were put in six-liter-pots
with a compacted Red Ferralitic soil and organic manure
substrate at a rate of 3:1 v/v. Results showed that there were
differences of up to 15 days of crop cycle between seeding
dates.
