Report of new varieties Lorita: a new Spathoglottis plicata Blume (Orchidaceae) genotype resulted from modifications during in vitro culture

Abstract
genotype obtained in Cuba by modifications taken place during in
vitro culture of Spathoglottis plicata var. Rosa seeds are presented.
Lorita has white sepals and petals, a distinctive characteristic from
its donating genotype. This new species will make the environment
more beautiful and it is a valuable contribution to Cuban ornamental
agriculture.
