Acercamiento en la identificación de rizobios rizosféricos de arroz (Oryza sativa L.) cultivar “INCA LP-7”

Abstract
En Cuba existen pocos estudios sobre la interacción de los rizobios con el arroz. El objetivo del presente trabajo fue caracterizar posibles rizobios provenientes de la rizosfera de plantas de arroz del cultivar “INCA LP-7”. Se caracterizaron 16 aislados bacterianos desde el punto de vista cultural, morfológico y bioquímico. Todos los aislados bacterianos produjeron colonias mucosas en medio levadura manitol; sin embargo, difirieron en tamaño y coloración. La tinción de Gram reveló que la mayoría de estos resultaron ser cocobacilos Gram negativos no esporulados. Algunos aislados resultaron negativos a la cetolactasa, produjeron ácido y crecieron en medios libre de nitrógeno. Se concluye que en la rizosfera de plantas de arroz del cultivar “INCA LP-7”, residen poblaciones de rizobios presuntivamente de la familia Rhizobiaceae, con potencialidades en la promoción del crecimiento vegetal.
