Wheat cultivation. Some results of its production in Cuba

Abstract
aim of giving information about the history of wheat in Cuba
and its characteristics; also, it presents the behavior of the
main varieties studied under the agroclimatical conditions of
the country, as well as crop agronomy, factors influencing
yield, chemical fertilization and biofertilization applied to our
conditions. Moreover, it refers to the main sowing dates and
its optimum period according to climate and water efficiency.
Finally, this paper presents a wide bibliography that helps a
better understanding of the authors criteria.
