Abstract

Some aspects on the physiologic and
biochemical mechanisms of salinity tolerance in rice plants,
such as osmotic adjustment, ion extrusion, protein induction

protective effects on salt stress as well as some results from
our institute about Cuban brassinosteroid analogue effects
on saline-stressed rice plants are also discussed.
