Abstract
Biotechnology from ??Los Palacios? Rice Research Station,
belonging to the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences
(INCA), from March to July, 2000 and 2001. Anthers of the
genotypes J-104, Perla de Cuba, Amistad 82, INCA LP-10, IR- 36,
IR-42, Amistad-82/C4 153, Amistad-82/IR-36, Amistad-82/IR-20,
INCA LP-10/C4 153, 8073/C4 153 and INCA LP-10/Amistad-82
were disinfected and sown in vitro in a N6-1 culture medium.
The formed calluses were transferred to a regeneration culture
medium containing Murashige and Skoog mineral salts, as
well as 1 mg.L-1 of NAA, 4 mg.L??1 Kinetine and 2 mg.L-1 of
IAA. The percentage of calluses formed with buds, as well as
the percentage of green plants and regenerated albino plants were
determined, obtaining differences as for the in vitro answer of
anthers, standing out the hybrid combinations INCA LP-10/C4 153,
Amistad-82/C4 153 and INCA LP-10 as well as Amistad-82
varieties during green plant regeneration.
