Abstract

The work was developed in areas from �??LosPalacios�?� Rice Research Station, belonging to the NationalInstitute of Agricultural Sciences (INCA), with the objectiveof providing the commissioned persons for the managementand preservation of plant genetic resource collections, thenecessary tools for the analysis of character association inrice genotypes and obtaining in this way as much informationand comprehension as possible by means of multivariatetechniques. The associations among variables identified bythe correlation matrix, by the discrimination degree identifiedin the Principal Components Analysis and confirmed by theConglomerate Analysis for 65 rice genotypes used, constitutesa useful information for breeding programs in this crop.
