Abstract

The new Cuban cultivar �??Samila�?? was obtainedafter crossing �??Desirée�?? variety with the Cuban high-yieldingcultivar �??Lizette�??. The purpose of this study was to achieve anew potato variety with high and stable yields, tolerant to themain crop diseases in Cuba, tuber quality and good cold storagepreservation.
