Relationship between barren seed of rice (Oryza sativa L.) varieties with the climatic variables temperature and relative humidity
Main Article Content
Abstract
2001 and 2002, an investigation was carried out to determine
the influence of certain climatic variables (temperatures and
relative humidity) on rice barren seed. Therefore, bed
experiments were mounted with monthly sowings and using
the climatic data of this town, the barren seed percentage of
the varieties was determined by the specific density method.
Results showed the existence of a strong correlation between
the barren seed and the climatic variables studied, as well as
allowed to determine the behavior of four varieties facing barren
seed in different seasons.
